Because the king has learned for certain that Adam de Cestreton
has applied almost 50 marks of his own' money to the building
and repairing of his houses w i t h i n the close of the House of Converts,
London, which houses after his death will remain t o the said House
of Converts in perpetuity ; the king wills that the said houses be
henceforth repaired in their roofs and other repairs at the cost of
t h e House of Converts ; and he therefore commands the master,
chaplains and converts to cause this t o be done henceforth
