Because the king is informed that Adam de Cestreton, king's clerk,
has applied great sums to the amount of almost 50 marks about the
building and repair of the houses which he has in the close of the House
of Converts, London, and that these houses after his decease will
remain to the House of Converts in perpetuity; the king wills that
these houses be maintained henceforth at the cost of the said House ;
and commands the master, chaplains and other converts to cause this
to be done without difficulty.
