to Peter Chaceporc, keeper of the wardrobe, to the king's use on
Michaelmas eve; 16s. Gd. for work thereon ; 7l. lOs. for 60
pennies of ' muse' (de miisce) offered to t he feretory of St. Edward
at l\llichaelmas ; 45s. for 36 halfpennies of ' muse ' (de miisce)
delivered to the same Peter for the Icing's offerings on the
Wednesday aRer i\fichaelmas; 19l. 16cl. [for] 4 marks of gold-dust
(in paillola) delivered to the same Peter in the wardrobe ; and
7l. 8s. 5cl. for 3 silver-gilt cups, whereof two were delivered
to brother John the king 's almoner for the hospitals of Oxford and
Ospringe, and the third to the church of the Converts of London,
to contain the Eucharist.
To the keeper of the mint. Oontrabreve to cause Guy Roiaud
to have 20l. out of the issues of the mint, being lOl. for this
Michaelmas term, and lOl. for Easter term in the 29th year,
of his yearly fee of 20l. |
