A. 6396. Letters patent by Edward, eldest son of the king, to Bartholomew
Verdiere, of Arraz, burgess of Bray, acknowledging that he is
indebted to him for a loan of 3,800 livre* Parials, received by the hands of
Sirs Henry of Almain, his kinsman, and Hugh le Bygod, to be repaid at
