Lib. without fail to Reyner Abbatis, Hugh Mace and their fellow merchants of
Florence 200/. at once, and to Nicholas de Lyons and his fellow merchants of Douai
300/. at Michaelmas next without further delay, both sums being due for cloths and
other necessaries of the wardrobe taken from them by the hands of Richard de Ewell
and John de Sutton, buyers for the wardrobe, since the king wants them to receive
due satisfaction; by main prise of the treasurer (vestra111), master John de Chishull,
chancellor, and Peter de Winton', keeper of the wardrobe, whose letters obligatory
are to be recovered from the merchants on payment. |
