memorandum that the mayor and bridge wardens and the commonalty of the city long had seisin of the tenements named in no 495 on the conditions therein specified; but later, by reason of a transgression done on the said bridge against the lady eleanor, king henry took the bridge aforesaid into his hand , and assigied the same tenements to the queen to be disposed of by her at will; and the said lady eleanor handed them over to stephen de fulhorne, bishop of waterford, who alienated them to the friars of the sack; and afte the extinction of the said friars, robert fitz walter unjustly entered the said tenements.
