Renunciation by William de Herford, rector of the
churches of Suthwyk, Baldeswell and Tewynge, in the dioceses
of ehichester, Lincoln and Norwich respectively, made to the
prior David and to the monks of Sele, of all his claim to
the annual pension from than, on account of certain of the
tithes of Suthwyk, of 40/, to Which he binds himself under
a penalty of 40 marks to the treasury of the queen; in
consideration of which the prior surrenders the farming of
the rectory which had before been given to him, the said
William covenanting that should he let it out to farm again,
he will let the prior have it, in preference to others, for
100/ per annum.
