Scope and content
Release by Sir Ralph son of Simon, and Ivecta his wife, to Sir Philip (Basset), of all their right to the lands granted to Sir Philip by the late John de Subiry, in Lammers, Henye, Clapton, and Twinstede, of which they promise to have a chirograph made before the King's Court when next the Justices in Eyre come into Essex: Sir Philip granting Ralph and Ivecta all lands he hd by grant of the afforesaid John in Middelton and Subyry, paying two marcs yearly, and the services due to the abbot of St. Alban's as chief lord of the fee.
