RYE 136/25
Folder icon Quitclaim from John son of the late Geoffrey Pokok of Rye deceased to Peter de Heghtone, clerk. RYE/136/25 N.d. [1305/6]. (This suggested date is supported by Robert Marchant being mentioned as mayor as in RYE/136/24 and by the close similarity of the witness lists of these two charters. This is the best written charter of the series.)
