for the Icing; 6 marks for a wide orphrey bought for St. Edward's
cope at Christmas ; 7 marks for 2 cloths of gold bought and offered

of St. Edward ; 32s. for a cushion (culcitra) of silk cloth
bought and offered t here in the same yeal' ; 9 marks for 2 silk
cloths of Genoa (Genne, Exch. Roll Geneue) and a cloth of Milan
(lYlelane), whereof the king offered [one] in the church of St. Paul
at London and another in the church of St. Peter at Westminster
at the anival of his brother R. earl of Cornwall and Poitou, and
the third was delivered into the wardrobe; and 9 marks for 3
baudekin cloths (baudekinis) bought to offer in St. Peter's church
at Westminster by the hand of Edward son of Odo, king's clerk, at
the king's departure from Westminster after Easter.
