Acquittance to Bartholomew de Castello of 181 paid by him to RogeT
de Lancastre and Philippa his wife, out of the arrears of the farm of
certain lands in Eathnmmes (which the said Bartholomew took to farm of
the king by the hands of John de London, then escheator this side Trent,
after the death of Avelina, sometime wife of Edmund the king's brother),
in part payment of 60/. in which the king is bound to the said Roger and
Philippa, for the vesture of 60 acres of wood within the park of Langley,
which fell to them iu purparty pertaining to her out of the inheritance late of Richard de Munfychet, long since deceased, who held of the king in chief.
Vacated became surrendered and cancelled. |
