[[[[[[westch477. Acknowledgement by the nuns and brethren of Shouldham that they have received from Abbot Ralph and the convent of Westminster all tithes which pertained to them in Clakelose Hundred (Norf.), to hold in perpetuity at an annual rent of £1. 10s. due to the almoner. [1200 x 1213]
Omnibus ad quos presens scriptum pervenerit, sanctimoniales de Suldha[m] et fratres earum salutem in Domino. Noven t universitas vestra nos accepisse a Domino Abbate Radulfo et conventu Westmusterii omnes decimas que ad eos pertinent in Clakelose hundredo tenendas de eis inperpetuum. Reddendo annuatim elemosinario Westmusterii xxx solidos ad duos terminos, videlicet: infra octabas Pasche xv solidos, et infra octabas Sancti Michaelis xv solidos. Hoc autem nobis concesserunt predictus abbas et conventus Westmusterii quamdiu nos habuerimus legittime erga p-tedictam ecclesiam Westmusterii et bene reddiderimus.
