Grant from William de Breusa, son & h. of John de
Breusa to the prior (Walter de Colevile) and monks of Sele
for the souls of himself and Alyva his wife, & John and
Margaret, his father and mother, and in exchange for an
annual payment of ten marks from Sorham for tithes, of 229

acres of his demesne in Croohurst in the parish of Horsham,
to be enclosed with a ditch and hedge, and to be ploughed up
as they please; viz. 175 acres which the said William held
in his demesne of arable land, and 2 acres which John Wul-

fard ploughed up, and 5 acres which xalph the Smith ploughed Pi
up, and 211 acres in the ploughed land called Godefreyes
Rude, and 9i acres which Robert de is Forde ploughed up, lA r;
and 6 acres whioh Maryata (sic) ploughed up, and 3 which
Margaret, 3 which Will. le Burere, one which Symon Terrioi P.
(son of Terric?) and 5 which Nich. de la Logghe ploughed
up; with all appurtenances.
