Lease by Hugh son of Alescander Springet of Leueseham and Agnes relict of the same Alescander, to James de Abingworthe, canon of St. Paul’s, for seven years as from Michaelmas 54 Henry III (1270), of all their meadow land in the town of Leueseham, between the big and little bridges, bounded on the S. by the highway leading towards Broccle, and on the N by the stream flowing towards the Prior of Leuesham’s mill called ‘Fullingemelne’; in consideration of the payment of a mark of silver.
