688 Test. of Reynold de Wirham (s) written before going to Jerusalem. He gives the following gifts to be taken from 205. rent acquired from the wife of Alan Balun: los. to SBH for a chaplain, 5s. to the nuns of Kelebum, zs. 6d. to the hosp. of St James, zs. 6d. to the hosp. of St Giles. If Reynold dies the zos. rent are for SBH provided they pay the above grants and lib. of cumin or id. to the capital lords. He gives the following gifts of the rent of a house in the p. of St Magnus, formerly of Simon de Ebbegat: 4r. 8d. to St Thomas ultra pontem, 35. to the Church of St Mary ultra pontem, zs. to London Bridge, 35. to the nuns of St Helen's. If Reynold dies the house is for St Thomas hosp. provided the above gifts are pald. To Peter Burgensis socius of Reynold, he leaves a shop in the parmentaria of L. and a shop in the fair of Winchester provided he pays annually to the canons of St Bartholomew i2d. If Reynold dies the shops are for sBH on the same condition.
