Description From: Edmund of Abingdon, archbishop of Canterbury To: the sacrist of Canterbury Cathedral Priory The church of St Mary Aldermary ('Aldermariechurch'), London, as a benefice worth 6 marks a year, for the fabric of the cathedral church. Reserving a payment of 8s 4d, payable by the rector of the church to the priory treasurer as a rent ('census'). The sacrist shall present a suitable priest ('persona') to the church when it is vacant and the archbishop will admit him, as he admitted Robert the chaplain ('capellanus') at the presentation of R the sacrist, signed with a cross ('signatus cruce'), and institute him into physical possession. No date.
