Whereas Maud Malet desires t o serve God porpetually . in a cell
(reclusorio) under the church of St. Dunstan, which church belongs
t o the House of Converts without London, the king, thinking i t t o b e
pious t o accede t o her wishes, commands A d am de Cestreton h i s clerk,
master of t h e s a id house and t h e converts inhabiting there, t h a t having
first received security for their indemnity, and for the preservation
of t h e s a id church, t h e y shall assign t o her there some fit place which
she can build upon and inhabit, provided that she bears herself
honourably. |
