Grant from Ralph de Crokhurst to Walte de colevile, prior, and to the monks of sele, of one portion of his land
at Crokhurst, viz. that which lies between the land of Rob. 11
Cobet and his own land called la Hoke on the south & the
land of the Convent on the north, and between the house of
Ralph the Smith of Nutham on the west and the land of the

said Rob. Cobet on the east, with all its appurtenances in

meadows, waters, lakes, &c., according as the bounds are
measured by competent men, in the parish of Horsham, paying
an annual rent of one penny, and excepting the water-

course of the donor's mill; in exchange foe 17 acres of
land which the said prior and monks give him in the north part of that (rude) which godfrey le clerk of hrosham ploughed up for tillage.
