Feoffment from Robert son of Peter and Emma his wife (daughter of the late Jordan le Spycer of Rye) to Ralph son of John and Christine his wife. RYE/136/39 8 February 1315

A moiety of that tenement which belonged to Gymmota Snoth [sic], mother of Emma, and which descended to Emma by hereditary right after her mother's death.
Rendering the accustomed rent to the lord of the moeity.
Consideration: 1 mark silver.
Seal of the Commonalty of the Barons of Rye procured for better evidence and security.
Witnesses: Robert Marchaund, then mayor, Paul son of Robert, Elias Muriele, John Paccok, William ate Wissche, Geoffrey Solaz, John Kyttey, John Ambroys, John Salerne, Robert Vincent, Henry Viss, Peter the clerk.
