Sunday, the octave of St. Martin, 12l. 12s. 4d. for wide orphreys
for two copes of cloth of gold (panno ad aur') and two cloths of
A.rest for their lining (liniaturam) bought by the king's order and
offered in the church of St. Peter 's, Westminster ; 4l. for apparels,
a stole, cuffs (pungnell' ?), collar (lambell'), and an amice
embroidered, bought and offered in like manner; and 18s. 6d.
for sufficient 'orphreys and fringes (!resell') for a tunicle and
dalmatic,. c~ndal for lining, and for making up the same bought
b,v the kings order and offered in like manner. Also to Edward
son of Odo, king's clerk, 58l. l 7s. 4iii. to pay for work done by
the king's order at Westminster from the day of St. Faith the
