been allowed 60/. 2s. 4d. for the tenth due from his benefices in the province of Canterbury for the three years in which the Pope made the king a present (graciam) of a tenth of the benefices of the realm'; also 40111. for his expenses in going on the king's errand to the king of Scotland in 5 2 Henry III (as in Nos. 289-90 above); receiving on payment of the said 28/. (sic) 14.f. and 121/. 8s. n d. the king's letters patent testifying thereto, provided that the 28/. 14s. due to John de la Lynde as his share of the 77/. 8s. Are reserved to him, unless other provision is made for him.
