Whereas Edward the king's son is bound to William de Valencia
the king s brother m 400 marks of arrears of ,1,000 marks which he
lent to the said Edward, and the said Edward cannot conveniently
pay him at present because of other business weighing upon him • the
tang, at the request of his said son, grants to the said William
that out of the present tallage of the city of London, he shall have
400 marks to wit of the first term of payment 200 marks, and of the
last term 200 marks.
Mandate to John Walerand and John de la Linde, keepers of the city of London, to cause this to be done. |
